Master of Science in Nursing Degree (MSN)

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is an advanced degree available to Registered Nurses (RN). A MSN is a requirement to become an advanced practice nurse and prepares nurses for roles such as Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Anesthetist, Nurse Midwife, and Nurse Administrator. The MSN is a 18-24 month program that teaches advanced specialization skills in the field of nursing.
