Accelerated BSN Degree Program
The Accelerated Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) is designed for students who have already earned a bachelor's or master's degree in another field and wish to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. This program typically takes one to two years to complete.
The Accelerated BSN degree program does not require the individual to retake many of the liberal arts requirements that were completed for their prior bachelor's degrees, however, they must complete some additional science requirements such as anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and microbiology. This program enables the student to quickly move into the nursing field by transferring school credits from their prior bachelor's degree and allowing the student to focus solely on the core nursing courses.
